Overview of AMC Competitions
The AMC (American Mathematics Competition) series is administered by the Mathematical Association of America (MAA). AMC 8 is a 25-question, 40-minute multiple-choice contest for middle school students up to grade 8. AMC 10 and AMC 12 are for students in grades 10 and 12 respectively, and high scorers advance to the AIME.
